Many parents are concerned about the virus, but are also concerned about the H1N1 vaccine risks along with the actual virus. A variety of surveys have had major differences in results. The two questions asked if parents would get the vaccine and if they would have their children get the vaccine. Side affects were the number one concern of all the H1N1 vaccine risks. Parents are also worried that their children might contract another illness from the vaccine.
Adults also felt that they were not at big enough risk to get the virus and that treatment would be easier than exposing themselves to the H1N1 vaccine risks. The swine flu vaccine is almost here, only time will tell if the benefits outweigh the risks. Maybe we will never know
